Our science class is a great learning environment where they incorporate fun with learning. The teacher is friendly and I enjoy her class.I have learnt more about science already, and I look forward to our next class.
Week 1
We learnt about POEW, a scientific process of prediction and observation. we also tasted different substances and described them as sweet, salty, sour, bitter or bland.
Week 2
We used POEW to observe and predict when we made balloon crafts, to get a straw from one end of the room from the other. The key was to thread the string through the straw, and connect the string to each side of the room.You then blow the attached balloon up big and release. If the string is very tight, then the balloon will shoot across the string to the other side of the room.
Week 3
We learnt about forces, like gravity and friction. We have been making marble runs.
Week 4
We have finished our marble runs and tested them. My BFFs team came second by 0.02 seconds!We also learnt about more forces, such as twist and elastic.
Week 5
It was our last week of Science Tech Art, and we had a test. I'm going to have cooking next, so keep an eye out and I'll be putting in what I made and the recipes!
